Up until now, the IAR ran pseudo-routing software that downloaded archived updates from Routeviews and RIPE to update its state. Now that a reference PGBGP implementation has been developed for Quagga, we are running Quagga with our own BGP sessions (~10 sessions or so). We would like to thank all of the networks that have brought up sessions with our router.
The IAR is the first testing ground for the Quagga implementation of PGBGP. After further testing we will release a PGBGP patch for Quagga to the public.
